Our commitment to
make markets work
well for businesses
and consumers
has continued to
drive us to achieve
many significant
milestones this year.
We are also a co-chair of the Advocacy Working Group, which looks
into promoting a culture of competition across economies. CCS
was also involved in the China–Singapore Free Trade Agreement
upgrade that will provide Singapore’s businesses with enhanced trade
facilitation and greater investment protection in China.
LOOKING AHEAD
As CCS takes on more cross-border cases, we will explore cooperation
agreements with our counterparts to increase enforcement
cooperation. CCS will be taking over the chairmanship of the AEGC in
2018 and continue to promote the development of CPL in the region
through driving capacity building initiatives and projects. In August
2017, CCS will also partner the Singapore Academy of Law (“SAL”) to
MR TOH HAN LI
Chief Executive
hold the fourth Competition Law Conference to bring international
and local competition experts together to discuss the latest
developments in competition policy and law. I also look forward to
further strengthening partnerships with our stakeholders to help
companies in Singapore harness the full potential that the rapidly
evolving economy may bring.
