Throughout August 2016, the

Policy and Markets Division

reached out to over 1,000

students from Temasek Junior

College, Raffles Institution and

Meridian Junior College.

CCS educated students on the

Competition Act with case studies

using economic concepts that the

students had learnt in schools. The

Q&A sessions facilitated engaging

and fruitful discussions.

The students found the sessions

very enriching and requested for

more outreach programmes to be

conducted in the future. Teachers

also found the event refreshing

and effective in helping students

understand how economic

concepts could be applied in

competition impact assessments.
