8th Vibrant Gujarat Summit
CCS attended the seminar themed “Ease of Doing Business – Regulators as Facilitators” on 11 January 2017 that was organised as part of the 8th Vibrant Gujarat Summit at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Attended by various regulators from across the world, along with Union Ministers and senior Government officials from Government of India and the State Governments, the seminar provided a platform for regulators to share their best practices and facilitated discussions on some of the pressing issues relating to regulations that have impact on business operations. CCS’s Senior Director Ms Ng Ee Kia shared about the role of CCS in enabling SMART Regulation in Singapore, which takes a Whole of Government (“WOG”) approach when finding the optimal regulations to ensure overall efficacy and minimise costs to stakeholders involved.
