Airline Guidance Note Roundtable Discussion

CCS held a Roundtable Discussion on the Guidance Note for the competition assessment of airline alliance agreements (the “Airline Guidance Note”), on 30 January 2018. The Roundtable Discussion was attended by both competition law/economics practitioners and industry stakeholders. CCS shared on its rationale for the proposal to issue the Airline Guidance Note, and assisted stakeholders in providing feedback in response to the ongoing public consultation on the matter. 

Chaired by Mr Toh Han Li, Chief Executive at CCS, and facilitated by Mr Herbert Fung, Director (Business & Economics), the Roundtable session discussed both the procedural and substantive issues covered under the Airline Guidance Note, as well as the potential enhancements that could be made.
