Regional Workshop on Competition Economics in Practice, Brunei
CCS attended the regional workshop on Competition Economics in Practice held in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam from 7 to 9 February 2017. The workshop was organized as part of the Competition Law Implementation Program (CLIP) supported by the AANZFTA Economic Cooperation Support Program, and was attended by competition experts from the ten ASEAN Member States.
The workshop provided a platform for the ASEAN Member States to discuss case studies and to each share their views on competition economics in practice. Competition experts from Australia and New Zealand also shared their knowledge, skills and experience on the use of economics in their respective competition agencies with the ASEAN Member States.
CCS’s Senior Principal Economist Dr Tan Hi Lin shared on an ASEAN perspective on the role of economics in the implementation of competition law.
