CCCS invites law firms to apply to be on its Consumer Protection Panel of Law Firms
CCCS administers and enforces the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (Cap.52A) (“CPFTA”).
CCCS intends to appoint a panel of law firms to act for CCCS, either on a full service basis or as instructed counsel, in the State Courts/High Court, on legal proceedings under the CPFTA where required on specific cases. The appointment shall be for a period of 1 year.
On 27 July 2018, CCCS published an invitation to tender which closes on 23 August 2018 at 4 pm. Interested parties may go to https://www.gebiz.gov.sg/ptn/opportunity/opportunityDetails.xhtml?code=CCS000ETT18300003&origin=email for the full requirement specifications and tender documents.

With effect 1 April, CCS is renamed the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore ("CCCS") as it takes on an additional function of administering the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (Chapter 52A) or CPFTA. The domain name of CCCS officers' email addresses has been changed to reflect "CCCS", i.e. @cccs.gov.sg.
